Hercules Human

Born Johannesburg, 1968; lives and works in Cape Town.

Graduated with an Honours degree in History of Art, University of Natal (now University of KwaZulu-Natal) 1993. Advanced University Diploma in Visual Arts (Professional Art Practice), University of South Africa, 2010

A one-time Exhibitions Curator of the Johannesburg Art Gallery, he has also had considerable experience as an educator, and a facilitator of art-related projects and events.

His artwork is represented in the Unisa Art Collection (Pretoria) and that of the Margate Municipal Art Museum.
